Halloween Habits Die Hard

Halloween was a killer for me. I bought a big bag of candy and a small bag and yeah, I found out I have little self control when it comes to Reese Cups. But they have always been one of my favorites on Halloween night. And honestly, who didn't chow down on candy during and after trick or treating?!?!? I know I did! I ate like a fat kid, guess it caught up to me lol :-).
I am honestly glad I had as good of a turn out as I did. I was afraid that because we live on the farthest south base with few ppl and we live in the tower way back off the road that I wouldn't have a lot of trick or treaters but I ran out of candy within the first hour. So thank goodness I didn't end up with extra's :-)
So for my update on my weight loss. Last week was HORRIBLE for me. John left for Sgt's Course and I went up to see him a few times so I ate out most of the week last week. BUT I still managed to loss .5lb. I was ecstatic that I didn't gain! And I am very glad that Halloween was on Monday night so I have the rest of the week to work off all the Reese Cups and Kit Kats I ate.

I hit my 30lbs gone mark today! I weighed in and I lost 3lbs last week = 7lbs gone since I recommitted and a total of 30lbs since I start WW. WAHOO! Soo excited

Baking Blues

So i weighed in Monday and I am down another 2lbs for a total of 4lbs since I recommitted to WW. But this week has been tough!
All week I have been making Chocolate Tombstone Candies, Cake Pops, Pies, Breads, everything delicious that's a whole lotta points! It's been killing me. Wanting to lick my fingers if I get chocolate on them. Wanting to eat the rejected cake pops. UGH!
I can guarantee this week I haven't lost as much as I coulda/shoulda but this was rough!

Starting October Out Right

So now that John and I are settled into our new home here in Okinawa Japan I am ready and anxious to get back on track and lose some weight! My goal is to lose 10lbs by the Marine Corps Birthday November 10th.
Now that I have started back on WW I am planning to be updating more! Hopefully I will start getting more followers on here and this can become more of a support blog and less of me babbling all the time LOL.

LLOONNG Time Since Last Post

Between vacation and internationally moving I have not had a chance to get on here to update. But also because of these things my diet went out the window. I know I have gained at least 5 lbs back. Hopefully when all my furniture gets here I will be able to get back on track and lose 15lbs by November 10th, The Marine Corps Ball.

Starting Back After Vacation

So John and I went home to Ohio for a month and that entire time I was off my diet. And I can totally feel it. I gained about 4 pounds back from all the ice cream and eating out. I start back on WW tomorrow. Hoping I can lose that 4 pounds and then some before we move to Okinawa the beginning of Aug. That's only 2 weeks but I think I can do it if I push myself to workout!

Week 11 And Still Going Strong

After 11 weeks of weight watchers I have lost (as of this morning) 23 pounds!!! I am so excited! Only 7 more pounds until I have weight my wedding/high school weight.
John and I have our vacation home coming VERY soon and I am hoping to keep on the diet and lose weight even while home. Hopefully I can motivate my mom to get back onto weight watchers and help her lose some weight too!!
This past Monday I also started taking 2 different dietary supplements to help me keep losing. I take Acai Optimum and Advanced Colon. So far they both really seem to be helping. I can already feel a difference thanks to the Advanced Colon. I feel lighter in my intestinal area. It's really great!

So it's been 2 months since I started Weight Watchers

So last week was week 8, 2 months on Weight Watchers and what a week it was!! I just weighed in this morning and I lost another 3 pounds!! I am only 3 pounds away from my 10% Weight Watchers goal and 4 pounds away from my personal goal of 20lbs by May 31st!!!


In other great news from week 8, We Got Him America!! If I could I would High-5 Lady Liberty!! We finally got Osama Bin Laden! I am soo proud of our troops!! We all must stay strong America because the war is not over!! No matter what Al Quaeda throws our way, and they will do something, we must be strong and united!!

Week 6 Weigh In

Another 2 pounds gone bring me to -13! Only another 6 pounds to reach my 10% goal!! Hubby and I head to Ohio June 10th and I am hoping to be down close to 10 pounds by then. Idk if it'll happen but I'm hoping so!! I will be soo close to my high school weight then!!

Week 4 Weigh In

So I only lost 1 pound in week 4 but that's ok because I know why. I kind of slacked at the gym, we had a party Friday so I used some of my extra week points, and we snacked last night and I used a lot of my extra week points. Bad idea to snack the day before a weigh in but oh well. Up to 8 pounds lost. Only 2 more to reach my 5% goal!! YAY!!!

Week 3 Weigh In

Week three and I lost 3 pounds!!!! I am soo excited!! I have lost a total of 7 pounds and they recalculated my number of points a day because of my loss. They took 1 away! I feel soo great now!! Gunna get the dogs together and it's off for a walk we go!!!

Week 2 Weigh In

Lost 1 pound this week. Which brings my total weight loss to 4. It's not much but I am just trying to think positively that it puts me 1 pound closer to my goal. 1 pound closer to skinny and beautiful. Hopefully this week I can lose more than 1 pound!

Small Victories

I celebrated a small victory in my weight loss today. I am able to tighten my belt one notch smaller even AFTER eating :-) Hooray!! I figure celebrating the small victories will keep me motivated enough to acheive the larger ones!!!

Struggles

So now I am facing some issues that are in the near future going to cause struggles with my diet. John and I will be moving in the summer time. We're not sure where but moving is always a HUGE strain on a diet. Eating out and staying on a diet is really hard to do.
A lot of places don't have nutritional guides that breaks everything down. And there are a lot of things not listed on the Weight Watchers site from restaurants.
And the farther we move away from California the harder this is all going to be because there will be a lot of eating out.
*Sigh* hopefully I have the will power to keep me going forward.

The Official Weigh In

And the results are...I lost 3 pounds!!! WooHoo for week 1!! I am already looking forward to next Mondays weigh in! Only another 7 pounds until I have reached my 5% goal!
My entire first week my problem was the urge to eat out. It's so difficult to eat out when a lot of places don't have a full nutritional guide. It's nice that they supply the Calories but what about everything else you need to know to make a good healthy decision.

Almost Done With Week 1

Tomorrow (Monday) marks the beginning of week 2 for me. I definitely feel great about week 1. The hardest part has been fighting my urge to want to eat out. I love to eat out. Burgers, Fries, Milkshakes, Chinese, I love it all. And I am craving it so badly! I suppose it will be an uphill battle for a while to fight against eating out, I just hope it gets easier soon.
Tomorrow is my first official weigh in, I will post the amount lost! Even 1 pound will be exciting (though I am hoping for more)!

Sweets

Why are sweets so tempting?!?!? Hubby had Lucky Charms for dessert and it looked DELICIOUS so I had a weight watchers sundae but now I want more. I have a horrible sweet tooth and it's never satisfied!
Does anyone know any good ways to help with the sweet cravings without blowing my diet? Does chewing sugar free gum ever actually work??

Day 2 Was Harder

So today was somewhat harder than yesterday but I still managed to stay within my points even after a piece of chocolate cake at Coco's. I also was able to take my dogs for a walk to get some exercise.
Hoping tomorrow to get to the gym to do a little cardio and work some arms and abs.

A SUCCESS!

Day 1 was a complete success!! I even had dessert with 4.5 points to spare. I did very well today now lets see what tomorrow brings. Maybe some exercise??

Day 1 Of Weight Watchers

So I started weight watchers today and so far I'm sticking to it but because I am so focused on keeping points all I can think of is food so I'm starving all the time. This is going to be soo hard! I hate the feeling of being hungry!!
 Also, trying to get motivated to work out has been hard on me. And now its especially hard because I hate working out when I'm hungry because it makes it worse.
I need some advice on what people do to curb their hunger when on diets. I can only eat so much fruit and veggies. Does anyone know of some tasty ideas??

Getting Started

This is the first post for this blog. I am signing up for Weight Watchers tomorrow and plan on starting Monday. I am wanting this blog for support, ideas, recipes, etc. I am hoping that everyone that comes onto this blog will be able to ban together and support each other through one of the hardest fights we may have, against our weight and ourselves.
We all need support. I want this to be a drama free zone too. Please don't bring petty fights from other places onto this blog this is a positive helpful zone only!
